Running from Saber-Toothed Tigers with Josh Brown
Today is a special edition of The Sandbox Daily in which we are joined by Josh Brown of Ritholtz Wealth Management.
Last week, when Sandbox Financial Partners headed west to the Future Proof Wealth Festival in Huntington Beach, CA, we sat down with various folks across the industry to discuss investing principles, human behavior, markets, and the economy.
Josh’s The Reformed Broker was the first investing blog I ever read – dating back to roughly 2011 or 2012 – and ever since, his illuminating, no-nonsense, and delightfully refreshing prose has been a guiding light in my own journey to understand the esoteric nature of financial markets. Even to this day, I torture subject my wife and four young kids to the latest WAYT or TCAF podcast while buzzing around Maryland or taking long treks up and down the East Coast.
When I initially told my wife Jen about recording some interviews at Future Proof and that I was reaching out to Josh, her immediate deadpan response was “Blake, you are seriously outkicking your coverage here… but good luck!”
This was an absolute blast and I’m so excited to share this Q&A with you.
Hope you enjoy!
