Who am I?

My name is Blake Millard, CFA. I am the Director of Investments and Portfolio Manager for Sandbox Financial Partners, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) headquartered in Bethesda, MD.

The day-to-day workflow is never the same but may consist of reading institutional market research, podcasting (lots of podcasting), meeting current and prospective fund managers to discuss investing opportunities and strategies, trading client portfolios, communicating market news and perspectives for all financial advisors of Sandbox, engaging clients during portfolio reviews, TV/podcast prep, and writing The Sandbox Daily.

Previously, I spent many years as the lead Investment Associate for two separate billion-dollar-plus AUM teams at UBS Private Wealth Management.

I live in Annapolis, MD with my wife Jen and our four kids: Hudson (8), Fitzgerald (7), Finley (7), and Wells (5). I enjoy boats, golf, music, books, and Michigan football (my Alma mater - Go Blue !!).
